MULTI-USE LEARNING FACILITY (MLF)
Duties
• Follow clearly detailed and specific procedures IAW site Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) or similar written directive.
• Explain MLF procedures and policies IAW SOP and other written directives provided by the Government.
• Follow procedures to post information and schedules for courses, and track classroom/facility usage.
• Assist clients with locating and enrolling in military programs and courses of instruction (both local and online), including military correspondence courses.
• Assist clients with locating resources in support of academic programs.
• Assist with maintaining, reference materials and study guides.
• Greet clients in a clear and professional manner, and enter participation data into GoArmyEd or other approved automated system.
• Assist clients with scheduling and use of training aids and equipment to ensure proper use.
• Report non-compliance with building use procedures to the On-Site Coordinator or Government personnel upon occurrence or IAW with local guidance.
• Follow procedures IAW SOP or similar written directive to monitor and record usage of facilities during scheduled hours of operation, and ensure facilities are empty and secured when not in use, as well as track facility key usage and report discrepancies IAW SOP.
• Catalog and assist in administration of equipment/supplies, completion of hand receipts and sub-hand receipts, and Property Inventory Reports IAW with the site SOP or written directive.
• Arrange materials, classroom equipment, and computers as needed.
• Identify and assist in correcting safety issues; i.e. slipping, tripping hazards.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment and assist with Random Access Measures (RAM) IAW SOP or other written directive.
• Support special events as directed by ESO (i.e. college fairs, graduation, etc.).
• Maintain and replenish literature/literature rack, publications, and electronic and print bulletin boards, waiting areas, etc. in a neat and professional manner.
• Assist Soldiers with required military training.
• Assist ESO, ESS, and Guidance Counselors as needed in conducting Education Center operations.
• Maintain work area/office in a clean, neat, professional, and orderly manner.
• Ensure computers and peripherals are clean and operational.
Qualifications
• Shall be able to read, write, speak, enunciate clearly, and fully comprehend the English language
• The minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform these services/tasks include: customer service skills, knowledge of U.S. post-secondary education and soldier development programs. Also required is familiarity with the Army Publication System, the Enlisted Personnel Management System, the Army Extension Training System, and small unit military training as well as experience with or knowledge of the online Army Correspondence Course Program enrollment process (www.atsc.army.mil), the U.S. Army Publishing Agency (http://www.apd.army.mil), the Army Doctrine and Training Digital Library (http://www.adtdl.army.mil/), and demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs and web-based applications.
• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience
• A National Agency Check with Investigation (NACI) is required for this position
